Today marks a new day for us. We've been dialoguing with several area churches- particularly those near downtown where we reside- to seek collective collaboration on ministry and prayer and other things that we can do together better than we can do alone. Face it, we're one big church. Or, we should be. Too often, small petty differences and denominational backgrounds divide the larger work that God wants- and can- do through us together if we walk in unity.
So, today, we're welcoming a few new friends to our building for lunch, to simply meet, pray, and look towards the future. Pray for Pastor Tom Cannon of Red Mountain Church, Pastor Kris Broadhead of Mosaic, and Joel Brooks of Redeemer Community... as well as others that may join us today, or in the next few weeks as we continue meeting and praying and looking ahead together.
